Idents made for Lithuanian national television LRT. The supervising company - grandma, produser Vytautas Chlebinskas.
LRT camera. A lot of standart animation, the main focus was how to make parts move logicaly and make them fit in to the cube.
LRT butterfly. We made couple butterfly animations, then used Thinking particles to animate the cloud of butterlies movement. The particle system was quite complex, the hardest thing was making them fly to random directions (back and forward) and keeping trajectory smooth. Turbulence was far way not enough for what we were aiming to. We used some technicques you can find on "eat3d" TP tutorials.
LRT comb. We used TP (thinking particles) for macro shot . Made couple simulations with RealFlow, then randomized time with TP. Everywhere else it is RealFlow.
LRT tube. Again TP, We downloaded some tornado setup from google (here), then changed it quite a lot, but the main idea was very good, and worked very well. Everything else is just tweaking particle setup, adding colisions and else.
LRT sodai. Although it might look like standart animation with rottation and else, but it isn't. We made it with TP setup. The setup was quite complex, but the main idea is we have shape geometry, emit particles from top vertices downward by searching for other close vertices. Make them point to target and geometry starts to appear.
LRT weathercock. Standart animation despite cloth animation at the end of each arrow. We used standart max cloth.
